Easter Gifts For Kids
Spring is literally just round the corner! (I know, the weather thinks otherwise.)
But what can we do?
Between downpours of rain, sleet and snow, I know you’ve been donning your coats and wellies and getting outside to make the most of it.
I naturally think of Easter when I spot daffodils, lambs and of course, Easter eggs on the shelves.
Yet, like many Mums, I don’t enjoy stuffing my beautiful children’s tummies with sugar-laden chocolate.
Preferable is to give a none edible, longer lasting, thoughtful gift to symbolise the special Easter season.
If you’re the same, you’ll appreciate today’s post on thoughtful Easter gifts for kids.

The Egg-Mazing Egg Decorating Kit

Easter just isn’t Easter without some form of eggs! Which makes this one of the best Easter gifts for kids.
This handy little gadget automatically decorates hard boiled eggs in pretty colours, which every kid will love.
Enjoy cracking them open together for Easter breakfast! Plus – protein over sugar. Win win.
These also make great centrepieces instead of the chocolate variety, as they add so much colour and positive energy.
School For Hares Playset

This is so cute! A full classroom of hares aka easter bunnies for your little ones to play with. I love wooden toys for their natural touch and sustainability.
This is my top choice for our two (we often get them one gift to share – it doesn’t always go well, mind you)
Our little 3 year old is properly into role play which is so wonderful to watch. He gets so engaged! This will keep him occupied for hours, I’m sure (I hope …)
Easter Bunny Craft Kit

A mega set of craft goodies for making all sorts of Easter decorations. There’s nothing more enjoyable than covering your kitchen table with glitter and glue, seeing the smiles on the kids’ faces as they create something amazing for themselves!
This would also be a lovely gift for a preschool teacher, I think, to add to their list of craft items for kids play.
Easter Activity Pack

A 3 pack of Easter activities, including colouring pages, scratch art and colouring pencils. Perfect for a quiet Easter Sunday afternoon. I personally get so lost in colouring with my little ones. It’s such a relaxing thing to do, and they love that I’m playing with them.
Rock Painting Kit

Any form of rock painting is great fun. Yes for us adults too 🙂 From finding the rocks (take a toddler!) to painting them pretty.
This kit includes 12 rocks, but I advocate a walk outdoors, getting the kids to find bigger ones.
Then place the painted stones at the front of your house to get the whole street feeling nice and ‘Eastery’.
Playground Chalk

A great choice for sunny days to decorate your driveway, or the path outside your house. These certainly brighten other faces too if you get creative and draw smiley faces everywhere.
You can also use kitchen cutters as stencils if you want to be a bit neater, or draw snakes and ladders. The options are endless!
Kids Digital Camera

We brought our 3 year old one of these last year, and boy was it a good shout. It broke his obsession with my mobile phone for one thing, which delights me to this day, plus you get some cracking photos taken of yourself being Mum!
Trust me, the kids will love this. Buy it here.
Message In A Bottle

This is perhaps the most thoughtful gift. It can be enjoyed by everyone and treasured for years to come. Includes over 100 capsules with paper strips that you can write messages on, pop them back and re-read them in years to come.
I would say this is more suitable for older children, but you could always write one on behalf of the little ones if they are talking age.
An Easter Tree

Why not go all out and celebrate Easter as much as Christmas? Or any other holiday for that matter. Easter trees are super trendy right now and the kids will love it.
Decorate it with any Easter crafts they bring back from preschool. This will last years and years and become a treasured tradition.
